Governor of Marib, Major General Sultan Al-Arada, discussed with the Minister of Industry and Trade Muhammad Al-Ashwal on Wednesday a range of issues related to performance of the Industry and Trade Office in the governorate.

They discussed trade regulation, market surveillance and consumer protection issues in Marib, and ongoing preparations for opening a branch of Yemeni Organization for Standardization and Quality Control in the governorate.

The meeting reviewed commercial and industrial investment in the governorate and promising opportunities in light of increasing urban expansion over the past few years.
