Wethaq Foundation for Civil Orientation on Wednesday held in Marib an awareness course for parents of 27 children , ex-soldiers in the ranks of Houthi rebels as well as children affected by the war in Yemen.

The course aimed at educating parents about children rights and the psychosocial risks of children recruitment and involvement in armed conflicts and the extent of Houthi abuses of children that they recruit to warfronts.
This training course is part of the activities of the first session of the seventh and eighth phase of the rehabilitation project for child soldiers and children affected by the war in Yemen, which funded by King Salman Humanitarian
Aid
and Relief Center.
The rehabilitation project for child soldiers in its seventh and eighth stages seeks to rehabilitate 80 child soldiers and educate 80 families.
