The military police in Marib province seized on Monday a shipment of weapons and assorted ammunition on board a vehicle “Dina’’ , which was
heading
to Houthi militia coup in the capital Sanaa.
Brigadier General Naji Muneef, commander of the military police in the province, confirmed the arms shipment seized at a checkpoint on the Marib-Sanaa road was hidden in a professional and complex manner.
“The shipment included RPGs, AK-47s ,machine guns, and various ammunition” ; Brg. Muneef added.
Brigadier General Muneef pointed out that this shipment of smuggled weapons for Houthi militias is not the first one to be seized. The security forces have seized several shipments of weapons during the past months, including the seizure of drones and radios.
