The General People Congress (GPC) branch in Marib province has declared that it categorically rejects what was issued by some GPC's leading figures in the capital Sana'a given that it doesn't represent the GPC and it is in violation of its internal bylaw and it came under duress.
The preliminary convention held Tuesday under the slogan:" Together for Maintaining the GPC and for Anti-Iran backed Houthi Militia Inclusive National Alignment".
The participants in the caucus announced in the final statement that they do stick to the leadership of His Excellency President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour as the leader of the GPC under the Internal Bylaw of the GPC and given that he was elected in the seventh Convention as first deputy of the GPC's leader.
In the final statement, the participants asked President Hadi, the leader of the GPC to delegate authority to whom he judges as appropriate to run the GPC's activities until the eighth Convention of the party.
The participants called the international community to immediately to move to protect the GPC's leaders and members who have been subjected to grave violations, atrocities and harassments by the Iran-backed Houthi militia
