The Director General of Social Affairs and Labor Office in Marib Hassan Al-Shabwani said that the response rate from international and humanitarian organizations is less than 30% of the needs of internally displaced people in the governorate.
Al-Shabwani added that international organizations say there are 148,000 displaced families in Marib governorate. However, 70% of the needs of these families are not covered, mainly access to water , sanitation, education, protection and psychological support.
Marib’s Girls Foundation held last Thursday a workshop in collaboration with Sanaa Center for Strategic Studies and the Oxford Research Group on identifying the needs of IDPs in Marib, as part of a project to explore local peace opportunities
