Governor, Siemens official discuss maintenance of Marib gas plant turbines

The Governor of Marib, Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Arada discussed today with the Deputy Director of Siemens in the Near East and North Africa, Ayman Al-Qurayhi, arrangements for maintenance of the turbines of Marib gas-fueld power station.

They also discussed Siemens maintenance works for the gas station turbines in Safer and training the station personnel to carry out maintenance work on their own and provide spare parts.

The Governor referred to the ongoing efforts to restart the Marib gas-fueled power plant to meet the increasing demand on power resulting from the expansion of urbanization and development
