IOM's interventions discussed in Marib

The Director General of the Directorate of Marib Mohammed bin Jalal received on Sunday with the the Director of the International Organization for Migration "IOM" in Marib province .

They discussed the cooperation and humanitarian interventions in the province amid the ongoing waves of displaced people from the provinces controlled by the Huthi militias ,as well as thousands of refugees from the Horn of Africa.

Bin Jalal welcomed the opening of the branch for the organization as the first international organization that has opened an office in Marib, pointing out that this step that will promote partnership between the local authority and the organization in the areas of humanitarian work and mutual addressing of the needs of IDPs and migrants.
