Governor of Marib Gen. Sultan al-Arrada, received on Saturday the director of the Center for Civilians in Armed Conflict CIVIC's Office in Yemen, Nadwa al-Dawsari, who is on a visit to the province.
During the meeting, the governor heard from Nadwa about the activities carried out by the organization as well as the programs it plans to conduct in Marib governorate.
He welcomed the efforts exerted by Civic to promote the humanitarian condition and qualify security officers for protecting civilians during the conflicts.
For her part, the director of the organization in Yemen Nadwa al-Dawsari appreciated the cooperation of the local authority, pointing out the CIVIC carrying out programs and courses to qualify military and security personnel and suggest mechanisms for the coordination between the security apparatus and the civilians
