Safer Company: Oil Pumping Station in Serwah completely breaks down due to Houthi bombing

Safer Exploration and Production Operations Company said the targeting of the oil pumping station ,PS2, by Iranian-backed Houthi militia resulted in a permanent disruption ,direct damage to the fuel tanks, and burning down the private housing , control room, generators and all facilities of the station.

In a statement issued by the company, which the the website obtained a copy of it, it confirmed that Houthi militia had been bombing the station in Serwah district west of Marib for three consecutive days, in clear signal of its determination to destroy the facility.

The company said it was a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and held Houthi militia responsible for that destruction.

It stated that the bombing of Serwah pumping station is not the first time where Houthi militia targeting its facilities, adding that rebels did that several times during the past years within the context of a criminal and systematic act to ruin the national economy.
