The local authority of Marib decided on Tuesday to close Qat markets in Marib temporarily as part of precautionary measures against coronavirus.
During a meeting brought together the director of the Governorate Police brigadier Yahya Humeid, commander of the military police in Marib brigadier Naji Muneif and other local and security officials, the deputy governor of Marib Abdurabu Miftah stressed the need for the closure of the Qat markets inside the city, which comes within a series of precautionary measures taken by the authority to fight and prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
