Marib Governor directs to carry out urgent repairs to flood-affected Marib-Baydha Highway

 Governor of Marib Maj Gen Sulta al-Arrada directed the public works and highways office in the province to conduct an urgent maintenance of the main Marib-Baydha highway, which has been damaged by torrential rains and to repair and open all roads affected by the rains in the mountainous districts.

During his visit to the office of public works and highways on Thursday , the governor also directed it to make an comprehensive study of erecting water barriers in order to protect the city of Marib and districts affected by the floods, and establish water drainage channels during the implementation of road projects.
