The Governor of Marib Maj. Gen. Sultan al-Eradah has unveiled that the
Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has agreed to finance a sanitation project for the east Yemen city.
Chairing a meeting for the local authority in his office in Marib on Monday, he said that the Yemeni government agreed to finance a road project that connects Marib to Beidha, and approved budgets for operating Saba TV channel, conducting a study and a design for an international airport, and paving roads inside the city this year.
The meeting discussed the final preparations to power the city from Marib's as plant that used to power the whole Yemen in the past.
