Two civilians killed, injured in Houthi landmine explosion in Hareeb
The security services in Marib Governorate have seized a terrorist cell linked to the Iran-backed Houthi militia. The cell members were caught possessing weapons, explosive devices, and sums of national and foreign currency.
A security source in the Marib Governorate Police told Saba that the arrest came after careful monitoring and tracking of the elements of the terrorist cell.
The source explained that the cell was seeking to implement criminal and terrorist schemes targeting military and civilian leaders and vital facilities, but the security sense and the high vigilance of Marib security men thwarted the plots.
The source confirmed that the security services are fully prepared and will strike with an iron fist anyone who seeks to destabilize security, stability, and public tranquility in Ma'rib Governorate.
