French Parliament delegation, who is on a visit to Marib, headed by MP Nathalie Goulet and a number of senators and French Ambassador to Yemen Christian Testot, met with the Mothers of Abductees Association and those who were forcibly disappeared in the prisons of the Iranian Houthi militia.
The Association briefed the delegation on the reports and statistics for the abducted and forcibly disappeared by Iran-backed Houthi militia militias in areas under the control of the coup.
According to reports of the association , there are (17983) cases of kidnapping and (3256) cases of forcibly disappeared by Houthi militia since the beginning of 2016 . The reports also revealed that 19 abductees were killed under torture by terrorist Houthi militia , while 960 are still being kidnapped and tortured.
The reports documented also cases of total and partial disability where some of them released after got paralyzed due to the Houthi torture.
The delegation heard a number of testimonies of kidnapped persons who were recently released and subjected to different types of torture and ill-treatment by militias.
