Deputy Marib Governor Sheikh Ali Mohammed al-Fatimi confirmed that the Yemeni revolutions throughout its history represented a necessity of liberation from slavery and colonialism, and an end to the eras of racism and sectarianism.
In a speech he delivered before the military parade held in Marib city on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of 14
th October Revolution and in the presence of the Chief of General Staff Major General Taher al-Uqili and a number of military and local officials, he said "despite the division in a certain historical period, the objectives of the Yemeni revolutions remained almost the same , which Yemenis still have been striving to achieve’’.
Al-Fatimi pointed out the role of the governorate to reject Houthi militia coup of the Houthi militias “who wanted to return Yemenis to the age of the dark priesthood."
He also referred to the efforts exerted by the local authority to improve the province in many different fields ,including the electricity, health ,and education sectors.
The deputy al-Fatimi expressed his thanks on behalf of the local authority for the Arab Saudi-led Coalition ,particularly Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates ,for their support in the areas of military, security and humanitarian .
