Marib Authority celebrates Independence Day

The local authority of Marib governorate hold today a celebration on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of Independence Day , 30th November, in the presence of Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh and a number of ministers and governors.

"It is a pleasure to celebrate this occasion in Marib, which is one of the most important days of the homeland and represents a history of the struggles of the great Yemeni people to gain freedom and independence and get rid of colonialism and enslavement’’; said VP in a speech at the beginning of the ceremony. 

 

He pointed out that the legitimacy under the leadership of the President of the Republic is making progress and successes on more than one level, where the heroes of the National Army are achieving great victories in all fronts .

 

He called on all Yemenis to stand united against sectarian Houthi militia, which destroyed Yemen, its infrastructure, social fabric and identit.

 For his part , Maj. Gen. Sultan al-Arrada ,the governor of Marib province said in his speech during the festival, that the people of Yemen has gone a long way in the battle against the coup, and that history will not have mercy on those who did not stand among the ranks of the people in these exceptional circumstances.

He stressed during the ceremony, held by the local authority in Marib province, marking the 51st anniversary of the Independence Day that our national holidays represent the identity and the pride of our Yemeni nation.
 

The governor reaffirmed the commitment to struggle until restoring the state , under the leadership of the President of the Republic Marshal Abderbo Mansour Hadi.
