Maj. Gen. Sultan al-Arrada ,the governor of Marib, received on Tuesday a team from the Customs Authority led by Abdulhaq Mohammed.
The governor discussed with the team the cooperation to combat smuggling and tax evasion and the absence of customs service in the province which became a main hub for various goods and commodities.Establishing an office of the customs in the province and a customs control post in Rwaik area which links Marib with the provinces of Hadhramaut and al-Jawf was also discussed.
Gen. al-Arradah stressed that the local authority will provide all support and potential facilitations in order to speed up the establishment of the office and control post.
