Local Authority Announces Marib Governor Award for Talented Students

The local authority of Marib Governorate and the Education Ministry Office announced on Wednesday the winners of Marib Governor Award for talented students of the year.

This award launched this year to stimulate creativity among students in a number of literary, scientific, and artistic fields.

The award winners were 20 out of 261 students, including 158 school girls, who participated from the all schools of the governorate in the areas of short story, essay

writing, poetry, drawing, singing and others. The deputy Governor of Marib Ali Mohammed al-Fatimi, Director General of the Education Office, Dr. Ali Alabbab, and Director General of the Office of Youth and Sports Ali Hashwan ,during a ceremony, awarded the winners prizes and certificates of appreciation.

Al-Fatimi pointed out that this award is only one of the aspects of support aimed at improving the education sector and raising the level of educational achievement.
