Marib celebrates International Workers' Day

The local authority of Marib Governorate celebrated the International Workers' Day ,which falls on May 1st of every year.

The authority honored 150 workers in the public and private sectors on this occasion.

During the celebration, deputy governor of Marib Ali al-Fatimi congratulated the workers who played a vital role in the growth and development.

Al-Fatimi condemned violations committed by Houthi rebels against the workers ,including confiscating salaries and rights, closing dozens of private and public institutions, and imposing heavy taxes on the private sector.
