The Governor of Marib Province, Major General Sultan bin Ali Al-Arada, has launched on Sunday high school year-end exams of the academic year 2018-2019, in Marib city.
Over 3400 students are sitting their final high school exams in Marib province this year.
During the launching of the exams, Gen. Al-Arada ,accompanied by local officials, toured a number of centers where exams are under way, including Al-Mithaq School and Mohammed Hail School in the provincial capital, inspecting the examination process.
Governor stressed that the local authority makes education a priority in the province because it is the cornerstone of development and construction for both the governorate and homeland.
He pointed out to the challenges facing the education sector amid the continuing waves of displacement to the province, and the support being provided by the local authority to the sector in order to overcome them.
