Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik stressed the need to prepare for resume oil production and exportation from Marib province, to boost to the national economy and, by extension, the life of the people.
He made the remarks in a phone conversation he conducted with the Governor of Marib Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Aradah to check on the process that has started and the associated security arrangements to prevent deterring sabotage acts.
He hailed the efforts of the local authority in Marib governorate and the security and military services in their resolute and deterrent response to the elements outside the law.
The Prime Minister pointed out that there are positive signs that other companies working in the field of oil and gas in Yemen will return to production and exploration after the liberation of the oil regions from Houthi militias.
