Interior Minister Ahmed al-Maysari hailed the state of security, fast progress of urbanization and business activity in the government-held city of Marib, east of the country.
Chairing a meeting he held with his deputy for Security and Police, Marib governor, the Minister of Transports, and local officials, he praised Marib for embracing people from all parts of Yemen who have fled Houthi crackdown in the country's west and northwest, and for being the starting point in the struggle against the rebel militias.
He also hailed the Saudi efforts made to realize peace in the country.
