International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced that it has assigned $500 thousand to build a modern basic education school in Marib governorate.
The IOM's announcement came as the Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah met Thursday with Acting-Director of the IOM office in Marib Angela Austen.
The planned school is designed to include 12 classrooms and playground to be established upon 15 thousands square meters.
The IOM's interventions in the governorate of Marib were discussed during the meeting.
Dr. Meftah welcomed the IOM's activities, deeply appreciating its contribution to the humanitarian efforts in Marib.
