The speaker of the Parliament Sultan al-Barakni on Wednesday condemned the rocket attack carried out by Houthi militias on a house of the Yemeni parliament member ,Sheikh Hussein al-Sawadi , in Marib city, led to the killing of two women and wounding 4 others, including children and women.
Al-Barkani expressed his sympathy with the family of al-Sawadi over this crime as well as the atrocities committed by Houthi militias through firing the missiles on the residential areas, mosques, camps and the highways.
"We draw UN special envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith's attention to such crimes, where hundreds of both civilians and military soldiers are being slaughtered by Houthis just after days from his last briefing to the security council and his repetition of peace and ceasefire," al-Barakni said.
This proves to the whole world that Houthis haven't been interested in achieving peace or saving the lives of the people ,according the speaker.
