The University of Sheba Region said the first batch of medical and laboratory equipment purchased from India at a cost of $ 225,000 for the Faculty of Medicine, with funding from the local authority of Marib Governorate, has arrived.
President of the university, Dr. Mohammad Hamoud al-Qadesi, stated to the Yemeni news agency Saba that the second batch, which includes biology, chemistry, physics and geology laboratories and other technical equipment, will arrive within the next two weeks, expressing thanks on behalf of the university staff to the local authority, headed by the Governor General Sultan Al-Arada, for its support to the university.
