Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah appealed to international and regional organizations operate in relief and humanitarian actions to quickly move to help thousands of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) who have fled their own regions recently for their lives due to Houthi militia's ongoing military operations on Marib.
He said "All relief and humanitarian organizations must bear their humanitarian responsibility act swiftly to secure the needed foods, water, medicines and shelter provisions to help thousands of new IDPs".
Meftah launched the appeal today during a meeting included Director of OCHA Office in Marib, Santos Azeco and Representatives of the Food and Shelter Cluster and seniors of officials from the IDP Camps Management and KSrelief Center.
