The second phase of the cash-for-work project was inaugurated today in Marib Governorate targeting about 450 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Al Jufaina camp, south of Ma'rib city.
The project is implemented by the Bena Foundation for Development in coordination with the Cleaning and Improvement Fund and the Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps within the program (Empowering the Most Vulnerable IDPs in Society) funded by German Foreign Aid (GFFO) and the German Social Service Agency (D.K.H).
The project aims to employ the targeted displaced people to carry out afforestation, paving and road leveling works in Al Jufaina camp, south of Ma’rib city, in addition to other community activities in the camp for a period of 6 months, which contributes to improving their living conditions.
