Wethaq Corporation celebrated on Monday here the graduation of the second batch of Rehabilitating Soldier Children Project.

Financed by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Activities, 27 children of Houthi rebel militia have been rehabilitated as the second batch within the third phases of the project.

In the ceremony held on Monday on the activity, Deputy Governor of Mareb Abd-Rabbo Miftah called on parents in Houthi-held provinces to protect their children against being kidnapped by Houthi militias and drag them into warfronts and then return to them killed or injured.

By the graduation of this batch, the corporation has completed rehabilitation of 135 children recruited by Houthis and psychologically affected by the war, said the Spokesperson of Wethaq Corporation, adding the children are from Amran, Mareb, Jawf and Taiz provinces.

They will return to their families after being psychologically and socially rehabilitated, he said, calling all for cooperation for protecting childhood against war effects.
