Major General Sultan al-Arada, PLC Vice President, participated on Monday in the ceremony of lighting the torch of the 61st anniversary of the 26 September revolution in Marib city.
At the ceremony, which was attended by many government officials, governors, military and political leaders, social figures, and the head of the Secretary General of the Arab Scout Organisation, the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Saghir bin Aziz, and the Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, Ali al-Fatimi, lit the torch of the 61st anniversary of the September 26 revolution, marking the start of the celebrations across the country.
The ceremony showcased a youth and scout show, where scout groups from different governorates waved the Yemeni flag and presented national paintings that reflected the Yemeni people's faith in the 26th September revolution's objectives and their commitment to the freedom path until they realized and defended the revolution's goals.
