PLC President Al-Alimi Arrives in Cairo for Emergency Arab Summit

President of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi of Yemen arrived in Cairo today, accompanied by Presidential Leadership Council member Major General Sultan Al-Aradah, to participate in the emergency Arab Summit convening tomorrow.

Egyptian Labor Minister Mohammed Jabran welcomed President Al-Alimi and his delegation at Cairo Airport, along with Yemeni Ambassador to Egypt Khaled Mahfouz Bahah and Acting Permanent Representative to the Arab League Dr. Ali Musa.

Al-Alimi is scheduled to address the summit, outlining Yemen's position on regional issues. He will also hold bilateral meetings with other Arab leaders to discuss the ongoing conflicts and explore ways to strengthen Arab cooperation.

In a statement to Yemen's Saba News Agency, President Al-Alimi expressed gratitude to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for hosting the summit during a time of significant regional challenges.
