An Australian Charity Commission funded one month-long project aimed to provide Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Camps in Marib province with drinking water.

Ten IDPs Camps will be provided with drinking water during midsummer from 8 July to 8 August when temperature reached its highest degrees.

The project is designed to supply the ten IDPs Camps with 250 tanks of drinking water. Total capacity of each tank is 30 barrels; an approximately 30 thousands liters.

Deputy governor of Marib Dr Abd-Rabbu Meftah who launched the project expressed thanks for the Australian Charity Commission for this humanitarian assistance which is very helpful for the IDPs in light of the very hot-summer.
