Minister for Human Rights Dr. Mohamed Askar has strongly condemned the Houthi missile attack on the populated city of Marib.
"Firing rockets on areas populated by civilians is a crime against humanity and a stark violation of the UN Security Council resolutions including the resolution no, 2216", the minister said in a statement.
Two children were killed and two others were seriously injured by katuysha rocket fired by Houthis militia on the populated neighborhood of al-Zara’a eastern the city of Marib on last Saturday.
The minister called on the international community, the UN Security Council and the United Nations to take strict measures against Iranian Houthi militias who commit violations against innocent civilians and bomb the residential areas.
