The specialized criminal court in Ma'rib Governorate ,on Tuesday, burned 3343 kilos and 500 grams of hashish worth about $ 9 million .

This has been done in the presence of the deputy governor of Marib Governorate Dr. Abdurabuh Miftah ,the director of the General Directorate for Drug Control at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Nasser Abdullah Al-Awash, the director of the police department in Marib, Brigadier Yahya Hamid ,and many security and local officials.

The head of the specialized criminal court, Jamal Sheikh Omair, told the Yemeni news agency, "Saba", that this damaged quantity was seized by the police services in the governorate during the last quarter of 2019.

He added that three quantities of cannabis and Hashish were also destroyed last year.
