Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani and the Director of Health and Environment Department at King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Affairs, Abdul Karim Al-Moallem, inspected the prosthetic limbs center at the Marib General Hospital in preparation for launching the second phase of the project, which was funded by the King Salman Relief Center.

During the visit, Minister Al-Eryaniwas briefed by the center's chairman Dr. Mohammed Al-Qobation the work mechanism of the center, which provides replaces missing body parts, upper and lower limbs, for the army and national warriors and to those who lost their limbs in an accident or a trauma.

The chief of the hospital pointed out that the first phase included the establishment of the center and training of its staff at the hands of Physicians Across Continents (PAC), a Turkish organization.

He indicated that the center, since the launch of its work last March has produced 306 prosthetic limbs, far above the previously projected numberand in a quality above the expectations.

Dr. Qubati noted that preparations are under way to launch the second phase of the project and that an extension contract with PAC has already been signed for an extra span of nine months.
Minister Al-Iryani praised the generous humanitarian work provided by KSrelieffor the prosthetic limbs center and the Saudi and Yemeni leaderships.

"While Iran is sending weapons, explosives and mines to the Houthi militias to kill the Yemeni people, Saudi Arabia is providing aid and establishing health and therapeutic centers, including this center" said Minister al-Eryani as he touted the center.
