Governor of Marib Maj. General Sultan Al-Arradah met in Marib Monday with General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Abdullah Annakha'i.

The session devoted to discuss the latest developments about combat operations in battlefields.

Discussions also touched upon coordination between military and local authority and security services in the province.

The Governor underscored the importance of joining efforts and aligning with the armed forces to put down the militia's coup and reinstate official government and institutions.

 

 For his part, Lt. Gen. Annakha'i deeply appreciated Marib's largely and effectively contribution to the ongoing battles against Houthi putschist militia's coup, highly praising Marib's local authority's role in hosting large number of Yemeni people from different parts of the country.

" Marib has proved to be a bastion of defending the republic, foiling the coup. Marib's role will go deeply down in history" said Annakha'i.
