40 Displaced women from the Directorate of Serwah participated Monday in a workshop organized by Marib’s Girls Foundation in cooperation with Sanaa Center for Strategic Studies and the Oxford Research Group.

The workshop aimed at exploring chances for peace and the needs of displaced women in various displacement camps.

 

in order to submit them to the local authority of Marib and market them to regional and international organizations working in the humanitarian field in order to work to meet them.

At the opening of the workshop, deputy governor of Marib for administrative affairs Abdullah Al-Bakri pointed to the great challenges facing Marib city in various fields due to a huge number of displaced people numbers from Serwah and the areas still under the control of the Houthi coupist militia.

For her part, the executive director of the Marib’s Girls Foundation Entesar al-Qadi underlined the importance of this workshop to identify the basic needs of the displaced women.
