The governor of Marib Sheikh Sultan Al-Aradah has renewed allegiance to Yemen's legitimate government and to the government's pursuit of retaking the state back from the coupist militias. 

 

Addressing the congregation at the Eid al-Dhaha service in Marib on Sunday, he called on the Yemeni people including the people of Marib "to pay no heed to the narrow agendas." He said that his province will remain a safe heaven for the IDPs and a springboard for the government to restore the Yemeni state
