Several human rights groups and the Human Rights Ministry branch office have called on the international community to act to stop the Houthi militia’s human rights violations against civilians in the government-run city of Marib.
In a joint statement following a site to a police camp mosque which the theocratic militia had struck on Friday, 28 August, with a ballistic missile incurring large numbers of casualties, the groups said the attack was part of the militia’s “systematic attacks on” civilian places including places of worship.
It was the fourth ballistic missile attack by the Houthi militia on a mosque in Marib over the past five years.
