On Wednesday evening, a poetry festival held in Marib desert on the occasion of World Poetry Day ,the 21st of March ,with the participation of a number of Yemeni poets.

The celebration, organized by Bunyan Team for Community Development in coordination with the Culture Ministry’s Office in Marib governorate, was aimed at reviving some of poetry types and supporting poets .

The festival included Yemeni songs and music pieces on Al Rababah played by artists from Marib while dozens of people attended the celebration were performing many various traditional dances.
