A seminar called for by the Female Peace Makers, a Yemeni NGO, in the city of Marib has criticized the international community's silence for the crimes of the Houthi militia against Yemen's children in spite of the militia's consistent practice of these severe abuses.

The participants said the Houthis have always been forcibly recruiting children, training them military and deploying them to the war fronts.

Hamdah al-Wals the chairwoman of the Women Peace Corps presented three working papers on the phenomena that the rebel militia have been practicing in the areas they control.

She and other presenters called on the international community to designate the Houthi as a terrorist organization and blacklist the Houthi leaders for their notorious record in child abuse.
