Marib Dep. governor calls on the UNHCR to do more for IDPs, refugees in Marib

Deputy Governor of Marib Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah called on the UNHCR to have greater role in supporting the IDPs and refugees in Marib governorate.

He made his appeal as he met today here with the official in charge of protection in the bureau of the UNHCR in Aden Mary Hisol.

Meftah stated that Marib governorate is housing now above two million and 300 thousand internally displaced persons (IDP) distributed tow 145 camps and more than 20 thousand African refugees
