PLC VP Al-Aradah Receives Facilities Protection Police Military March, Commends Discipline and Operational Readiness

Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) and Governor of Marib, Sultan Al-Aradah, received on Monday personnel of the Marib Governorate Facilities Protection and VIP Security Police following the completion of a military march conducted as part of the force’s training and qualification program marking the launch of the second phase of the 2026 training and combat year.

Al-Aradah commended the participating personnel for the military discipline, professionalism, and high morale they demonstrated during the exercise, describing their performance as a reflection of the operational readiness and commitment of the governorate’s security services in carrying out their national responsibilities.

He also praised the efforts of the Facilities Protection and VIP Security Police in performing their duties with efficiency and professionalism, emphasizing the force’s important role in securing critical infrastructure and protecting public officials. He further expressed appreciation for the sacrifices made by security personnel in strengthening security and maintaining stability.

The military march was led by Brig. Gen. Ali Doman, Director of the Marib Facilities Protection and VIP Security Police, with the participation of officers and non-commissioned officers.

Brig. Gen. Doman said the exercise coincided with the launch of the second phase of the 2026 training and combat year and the graduation of several specialized training courses for the force’s personnel, as part of the department’s plan to enhance operational capabilities and maintain a high level of readiness.

He added that the military march forms part of the department’s ongoing training and qualification program, which includes security, policing, physical fitness, and field exercises aimed at developing the professional skills and operational capabilities of personnel, improving their effectiveness in carrying out assigned duties, and further strengthening the overall readiness of Marib Police.
