The chief of Marib Military Police branch said that there are no abuse of prisoners in the government-held province.
During a meeting with a visiting team from the National Committee for Investigating Human Rights Violation Claims in Marib on Tuesday, Brig. NajiMuneefwelcomed the team's visit to jails to inspect the condition of prisoners by themselves saying that government-held prisoners are given a good treatment as provided for in the constitution and law.
The team toured the local jails and questioned prisoners on the reason of their imprisonment and conditions.
