Vice President Sultan al-Arada attended the closing ceremony of the Second Round, Joint Strike training program for Special Security and Facilities Forces in Marib Governorate on Sunday. Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Sagheer bin Aziz, Undersecretary of Interior Minister Major General Mohammed bin Aboud, and other security and military leaders were also present.
During his address, Vice President al-Arada congratulated the graduates on their successful acquisition of new skills and knowledge, emphasizing the importance of these capabilities in effectively carrying out their security duties. He also conveyed greetings and Ramadan well-wishes from the PLC Chairman and members.
Al-Arada stated the political leadership's strong commitment to enhancing the efficiency of the armed and security forces. He emphasized the significance of continuous training and qualification programs aimed at improving performance and enabling personnel to fulfill their duties professionally in various situations.
The VP underscored the crucial role played by the police and security units in safeguarding lives, protecting property, and maintaining security and stability, which ultimately contributes to public tranquility.
Recognizing the exceptional circumstances facing Yemen, Al-Arada emphasized the need to build a robust military and security institution capable of effectively carrying out its tasks. He stressed the importance of enhancing the capabilities of these institutions to address ongoing challenges.
