The Director-General of Ma'rib Governorate Police Brigadier General Yahya Humaid discussed on Saturday with the delegation of International Committee of the Red Cross headed by Robert Zimmerman, who is on a visit to the governorate, areas of cooperation and organization's humanitarian efforts.
During the meeting ,brigadier Humaid heard from the team's head an explanation about the nature of the visit, which comes in the context of identifying the humanitarian needs, including reviewing the conditions of the prison administration inmates and their basic needs and what can be provided of health and humanitarian services.
Brigadier Humaid welcomed the team of the International Red Cross team to Marib, pointing out the importance of the organization's role in providing humanitarian services, and its interest in the conditions of prisoners in health and service prisons.
He stressed that the governorate police will do everything possible to provide the necessary and facilities for the Red Cross to carry out its tasks, hoping to expand the relationship of cooperation and partnership.
