Security officials holds extended meeting in Marib

Security officials in the office of interior ministry held on Thursday an extended meeting in Marib province.

The meeting ,presided over by deputy minister of the interior Major General Mohammed Salem al-Sharif, aimed at discussing a security strategy and an integrated action plan to perform the ministry's functions from its branch in Marib province, since the ministry was unable to operate in the temporary capital of Aden after the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia's coup.

The meeting also touched upon storming the headquarters of the interior ministry in Aden by STC elements yesterday, looting its contents and tampering with records and documents.
