Director of the public health and population office, head of the technical committee to confront coronavirus in Marib Governorate, instructed Saturday medical checkpoints at the entrances to the province to tighten screening procedures for travelers coming to Marib, as part of the precautionary measures against coronavirus pandemic.
During an inspection visit to medical teams at the eastern entrance to the governorate in Safer, he stressed the importance of implementing precautionary measures according to the directives of the Supreme National Emergency Committee for Coronavirus, especially after reporting new confirmed cases of infection in Aden and Taiz.
He pointed out that 94 rapid response teams have been formed in the governorate to raise awareness of the virus and deal with any suspected cases.
