Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Bohebeh held discussions here today with the representatives of the international organizations operate in Marib governorate.
The deliberations focused on the challenges and pressing needs facing health sector in the governorate where health facilities have been overburden due to the continuing influx of the IDPs on a daily basis to Marib.
The Deputy governor of Marib Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah provided a detailed presentation about the health situation, citing the most pressing needs and requirements ought to be addressed urgently.
The Minister highlighted the need for greater role by the international organizations in supporting health facilities cope with the increasingly growing needs for health services and care in the governorate.
