Deputy Marib governor, Dr. Abd Rabbu Miftah, laid the foundation stone of a health sciences institute for girls in the governorate, to be implemented by the Humanitarian Access Society, with funding from the International Charitable Society for Development in the State of Kuwait.
Miftah, along with the Deputy Director General of Health Office for Technical Affairs Ahmed Al-Abadi, were briefed by the Executive Director of the Humanitarian Access Society in Marib, Salem Saeed, on the project and its components and what it comprises: classrooms, laboratories and other facilities, at an estimated cost of 200 thousand US dollars.
Dr. Miftah stressed that the project will constitute a major addition to the health sector in the governorate and will contribute to the rehabilitation of health and technical staff, nurses and midwives.. He expressed his thanks to the Kuwaiti organization and to the State of Kuwait, government and people for their continuous humanitarian support and standing by their Yemeni brothers.
