The local authority in Marib Governorate has issued an urgent humanitarian appeal to its regional and international partners working in the humanitarian field to urgently intervene to provide aid and assistance to internally displaced families affected by storms and torrential rains that the governorate witnessed during the past two days.
The appeal was issued during an emergency meeting held today at the governorate’s office, headed by Deputy Governor Abd Rabbo Miftah, including the Director of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations (OCHA) in Marib and heads of the shelters, , food and protection sectors, and representatives of the Executive Unit for Managing IDPs Camps.
